Default Restaurant Recommendations

Hey guys, I'm graduating college(cal poly) this weekend and my parents wanted me to make reservations for dinner. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions of a good place to go to. Something some what nice would be cool. Nothing like McDonalds or anything like that lol. Let me know where you guys would take your family if they were visiting for the first time.

I think anywhere in LA or OC would be fine. Santa Monica, Hollywood areas or irvine, newport. Pretty much anywhere as long as its not 2 hours away lol.

I would personally just bring them to Bruxie in Brea, but I guess you want something a little more fancy so here you go:

If you like California fresh seafood Fish Camp is great. I think the food tastes better at lunch: http://www.yelp.com/biz/fish-camp-hu...ry:fish%20camp

Seasons 52: menu changes with the seasons. good food and right connected to the best mall in the OC. http://www.yelp.com/biz/seasons-52-costa-mesa

My favorite place to eat is The Playground, but IDK if your whole family would like it. They don't make substitutions and you should make reservations at least a week ahead. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-playgrou...e%20playground

Old Vine Cafe: http://www.yelp.com/biz/old-vine-cafe-costa-mesa-3

Any particular type of food you plan on eating?
