Driving from LA to Tucson, I had it come on in the middle of nowhere -- no towns, no stations. I think I went close to 60 miles. Talk about white knuckle driving.

when the light comes on and i get gas.. i get 10-10.5 gallons... depending on your gas mileage, you do the math on how much further you can drive

i think our tanks are 13

I have driven 40 miles on no bars with no problem at all (freeway with little pedal input). Was very suprised once I reached the gas station and saw how much gas was still left in the tank.

It's not accurate if you are tracking your car though. On my last session at SOW i pulled of the track when it displayed 3 bars left. I thought i still had plenty to go to the gas station 4 miles from the track. Leaving the track and going to the outside street my 3 bars were gone. 1 mile later I ran out of gas..... Had to go fill up my car TWICE with a 1 gallon gas caddy I bought to start the car and drive to the gas station.
