I am currently in the process of restoring MY 00 and wanting to have a full body respray from NFR to Matte Black and am looking for a good paint shop that will not gouge on prices. I know you pay for perfection, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, if by chance they do body work as well. I have a left rear quarter panel that needs to be cut of and a new one put one.

 

Matte black is a very tough color to pull off on paint. Paint shops charge a premium on matte colors if they're done right. Otherwise it looks streaky and weird. If it was me, I would go plastidip on any matte colors. I've plastidipped an entire F150 matte black and it turned out nicely. Touch ups are easier also.

 

At first I was thinking of vinyl wrap if I cant get an excellent respray.

You do pay for what you get.

Can't recommend DTM. Saw a car painted by them...absolutely no attention to detail. They obviously don't use the same guys for the Ferraris as they do for the S2k. But, as I said, you pay for what you get.

"Perfect" full repaints will cost your $6-9K.
