i lived in a 1 bedroom in Silverlake for awhile and moved to Burbank for a few years... i recently moved to Pasadena and make the trip to Downtown almost daily.

takes me about 45-60 minutes during heavy rush hour via Arroyo Parkway/110. 20-25 minutes with no traffic. There are however alternate routes via streets to get to downtown but i don't advise it. The 2 is also an option.

my apartment complex is not pet friendly. good luck!

i moved out of Chinatown (LA) a couple months ago. i was paying 550 a month for a (2) bedroom (1) bath location. you're not going to find anything cheaper than 850. if you do, jump on it.
