One if not my personal favorite Brian. Wheels and suspension at the same time, then the lip. If you can only do one at a time, rims first. With the S1 3pce. make sure you get 18's.

Fred
Completely, absolutely, 100%

except get 17" instead of 18's feels and handles better.

Those Rims are next in my rim list ..... Go aggressive! Your going to probably have to roll the wells. And dont go too low or you can end up like .......

Take your car to West End right after you do the job!

Oh, oops! Yeah, I am not interested in going extreme lowness--I want 0% rubbing.
(Much higher priority than "wow, looks cool dude").

Yeah, I was considering West End, from all the positive reports I've heard here.

hehe. I saw that "edited by buggy" addition of the 17. I'm thinking I'll go that way--
I want good control and performance.

Coilovers...what are you looking for in your coilovers? If you want good handling and bang for the buck, i'd say KW V3's. It really all depends on what you're looking for. From what I've heard, although pretty stiff, the KW's are awesome coils. Bilstein PSS9's are pretty good too.

No, i'm looking for the bling bling baby--bright green coilovers with flashing
purple LED's!

Is there something else to look for besides good handling and bang for the
buck? I'm a newbie, so I don't know... I know enough to not get springs.
Hmm.. I want performance, speed, tight control, and 45MPG. Ok, maybe
not that last one. Here's the chart:

How would you rate the importance (1 being not important at all, and 10 being
extremely important) of the following criteria in determining your coilover purchase?
bling bling : 2 (lower is cool)
cost : 6
performance/handling/control : 10
MPG : 1
Chick Magnet : 1
SAF (spousal acceptance factor) : 2

Well if performance is a big factor, I would say go for some KW V3's . There the most hardcore you could probably get while being able to drive ur car daily without ur back giving out. These with some light weight 17's, and your car should handle real well.

I wonder if the V2's would be sufficient for my purposes. So far,
I have no track time, and probably won't get much in, in the future.
Hmm...

Holy cow! I just checked prices on the S1's. $3000?! Why are
they so pricey? Now I'm starting to get cold feet. 3 grand is
kinda steep for rims... Hmm...
