Hey guys, well I was doing the speed limit and driving normally when an cop on a motorcycle pulls me over. I asked him what his reason was for pulling me over he told me because i had a "modified exhaust" He gave me a ticket for my K&N Intake which im in the process of getting the CARB exempt decal for right now. My T1R exhaust and front plate ticket which I already have. I have to take the car to a Referee station, if I fight the ticket after I get the CARB exempt decal do I still have to smog the car? and how much do you guys think the ticket will come out to?

yes you will still have the smog the car, once the cop assigns you to a ref station, the judge would want to see the results.

Just put stock exhaust on with a cat, make sure you get your carb eo number before you go see the Ref and chp will sign off the no front plate ticket.

Just what ever you do when your in So-cal do not drive through Glendora. The cops there give their own mama's a ticket.

Edit: It's ok, I got a state ref for my stock intake by some lady cop in Newport beach. That was a hassle.

the same thing happened to me i got pulled over for having no front plate then he popped my hood and took pics of my header aem intake and same exhaust and tp...
luckly the ref station was closed do to the budget crisis so i really dont know why he refed me anyway what i did is i got my ticket signed off by the chp..i never really showed it to him i just told him my exhuast was stock since the ticket says you cant drive your car till you take it in. and on my court date the chp never showed so i got out of it...
