So, I recently got a good condition used soft top, but after a few months it has developed the dreaded tear just above the window area. At this point, the tear is only about a 1/2" long, but I want to get it patched and the other side as well before it tears.

Any recommendations of where to go? Preferably in the Corona, IE, OC, SGV, Long Beach area in that order.

i use black silicon and denim fabric patches from Walmart. apply the textured denim side to the underside of your top in the trouble spots. works the treat and won't fall out. since the silicon is heat resistant it doesn't break down quickly, if you do it right, you would likely get rid of the car before you have an issue with the patches.

thanks for the suggestion. But, I want it to look perfect from the outside. The tear is almost invisible from the outside now. But to make it look perfect, the tears sides need to be brought together somehow.
