Rear Ended!
So as i was getting off the exit from the 210, I was stopped at the light going through the music on my headunit. then out of nowhere BAM! getting the wind knocked out of me, coughing and weezing to get my breath back, I see this car just peeling out behind me and blazing through traffic since the light has just turned green. couldnt even see the plate nor the face in the car since it was tinted, all i know was it was a black suv. pull over to the side and the police comes and tells me its pretty much impossible to find the suspect. great. son of a bitch got away. i check the damage and it wasnt that bad to my surprise but none the less, its gotta now come out of my pocket for something that wasnt my fault at all. any suggestion guys? im just so frustrated and needed to vent somewhere.

Ummm... don't you have insurance? Your insurance would cover it and you would pay your deductible. I am assuming your have comp and collision coverage as well.
Also if your hurt and need to goto doctor to get your checked out. If yu had health insurance that would cover it minus deductible/co-payments. Also if you had med pay on auto policy that would cover some of it.

A hit and run. Have you asked your insurance company about it yet? It almost seems like that would be uninsured motorist territory.

"uninsured motorist" is more for bodily injury incase you were hurt in teh accident. If you have comp/collision you'll be covered unless they can prove that you purposely crashed your car. I mean you can basically drive like a jack ass and spin out wrecking your car and insurance would cover it.

i dont feel any pain at all at the moment but if anything acts up tomorrow morning i planning on going. im just pissed that i would have to pay my deductible right after a big purchase which now i might have to return to free up some cash.
i was wondering about the um part of the insurance. would my deductible canceled out on that?
