Default Real friends dont let their friends drive a s2

Ok this is how it happened. I went to my friends house to go kick it and right when I showed up my 2 friends came up to the car. He said "Hey let me drive your car"... So since this is a close friend of mine and he KNOWS how to drive stick I said "ok" without thinking twice. About 5 minutes later he comes back with the car, but "cruising" it. Now you know something is wrong when a 22 year old behind this car is driving the speed limit. So he busts a U turn and stops in front of me. He says " Hey... sit down real quik cheeb" with this really serious/scared face. I look at my passenger seat and I see the handle for the door just laying there... Right away I knew something happened. He said " I'm sorry... I'll pay for everything". Than I said " What did you do?" We puts the car in gear and starts to drive. Car seems fine SO far. Than he let go of the steering wheel. Right after he lets it go the steering wheel completely turns to the right.. DAMN... He ran the car into a curb by making a turn to fast. This goes to show that this car is not a novice level car!! Turns out I have a bent rim, phuked up alignment, dented hood, messed up front bumper, broken passenger handle, pinched radiator.... etc. Now from the looks of it my friend is going to have to pay at least 3 g's in damage. If any of my fellow s2k members can help me out of how we can go about this so my friend doesn't have to be stuck with such a high tab? Also so that it doesn't effect my insurance? Any advice for my friend would help extremely because he has a kid on the way and I dont want this kind of debt to be on his shoulders.. Yes i know it was his fault, but still I want to help him out any way I can. That's where YOU guys come in. Dont be shy to chip in on any advice, recommendations, etc. Please Help!!! I have AP2Suzuka, my kuzin, and Supertech helping me out already. Thanks in advance guys!!

Don't worry Gabe, it doesn't look too bad. Make sure he does pay for it though

You can find used rims and bumper and intakes in the SoCal market place.
