We are alright. Thanks Patty for your concerns. I am actually doing well. All the dizziness is gone and even went to a local ballgame (ha Patty) We are good to go. Just thinking what they are thinking on my car as to a total loss or what????

I just got off the phone with Robert. He's back at work and feels OK. He will have to get the staples out of his head in the future.
He had different rear tires than his OEM fronts. The rears were new. He was describing the feel of the car with those different rear tires, and I know exactly what he's talking about. I had different new rears with OEM fronts on my '01 the first meet I went to, Raptor's BBQ in 2003. Even on the freeway, going in a straight line, the car would act like it was possessed and wiggle around. It was scary to drive. Robert said the rear end just didn't hold in that turn. I went to the spot. It's not a bad turn. The new rear tires did not perform like the OEMs.
OEMs are worth the extra money.

Again, I'm not trying to be an armchair quarterback, as I'm sure much of this is news to many of you. Let's just learn the lesson here, and thank the stars that we can learn from it without Robert having to have been hurt in the process.

I should have added, that after that one experience I had, with the different new rear, and OEM fronts, I had the rears removed within days, and got all new S-02s. It really was frightening.
FYI, I pulled out my paper work from that time. I went to America's Tire Co. in Lancaster on 7-18-2003. I was going to put on four new Bridgestone RE 750s, but they were short a front so they put on three new tires!! I told them to take off the one new front, and put the old S-02 back on, and I would come back for both the fronts when they got another in. That weekend was Raptor's BBQ so I took the car with the two different rears. After being scared s**tless, on the drive, I took the car back, on 7-22-03 and told them to keep the rear RE750s and get me four new S-02s. I'll never change from stock again.

^That's what I thought.
I was next door to the tire place, getting a drink while I waited, and I came back and said, "You did what ?!"
