Raceline - Final Gear Install Price
Someone told me raceline does it for $250.
I just called and they told me it is $350 + $40 for yellow box install (not sure if the original $250 I heard about included the yellow box install or not).
Does this sound right to you? I guess it's not like I have much choice...If I haggle and nothing happens, well then I it's pointless. If I haggle and get them to cave, they may hate me, and have evil thoughts running through their heads as they take apart my car (which isn't good).
I just wanna know if I'm paying more than everyone else.
Also, should I get my own fluids (and what kind)?

way back when when i was looking to install gears the prices were in the $250 range. a $100 increase is pretty steep.
of course my price was just if i brought the pumpkin to them. were you clear on what you wanted to have done? perhaps they are quoting you for pumpkin removal, gear install, pumkin re-install. if thats what you want, but i thought maybe you would have pulled the diff yourself and just brought it to them, then $350 for just gear install sounds high.

No, I'm gonna drive my car there and have them do everything.
I'm much too lazy to do any car work myself anymore.
So if it's $250 for just the gear install, $350 isn't that bad for a total install.
