Default Quick soft-top install question.

I purchased a soft-top assembly and would like to proceed to install it. Problem is, my S does not currently have a soft-top control switch - it was removed at one point, I purchased another one and it's on the way.
Thus, my question is, can I install the assembly without having the switch? Furthermore, would I be able to bolt up the assembly and "pull" the top to it's closed position?

This is all somewhat necessary because I sold my hardtop and the S is my daily.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

i'm not sure if you can manually pull it closed. i don't think you can without sending an electrical signal to the motors. But i removed my soft top and still have my switch. you are welcomed to borrow it if u you want. Even if it's just to shut the top after you install until your new switch comes in.
