unless your staying by a nearby hotel and get to park there.... that place is swamped on nye. there's usually parking @ horton plaza. Its ok there i guess, just a huge parking structure... I wanna say its about 2 blocks north of cafe sevilla... there's going to be tons of valets... again ur call.

Don't drive into the Gaslamp District!!!
It is gonna be a real mess. Every major holiday is the same thing.....20k people fighting for 5k parking spots - and most of those are PAY lots ($20 +).
Do yourself and your car a favor and park at a Trolley station and ride in. Parking there is FREE, your car will be alot less exposed away from downtown, and the trolley will drop you off about 3 blocks from the Gaslamp.
Trust me, the trolley saves alot of headaches.
