btw, do we really need to discuss this on s2ki?
i mean, lance asked a personal question. calling out other brothers and sisters to respond to his personal issue.
at this point, seeing where its past lance's personal issues, i dont see any further fruit from this.
but then, our mod saw fit to open up a discussion on abortion

Here's the thing though: Just because some Christians haven't explored their faith to make the decision on their own, it should not de-value Christianity at all. It's the delivery method in question. Nor should it make their faith any less valid.

I should stay away from religion and politics here.
I was just reaching out, and probably wasn't the best place to put this.
I apologize for hurting anyones feelings and appreciate those that stand firm on their beliefs, and have shared your feelings. It takes a lot to stay on firm ground.

so what? how many christians are christians because thats all they knew/learned since they could ever remember?
if christianity is indeed what its made out to be, or any other religion at all, let the child grow up, mature, and decide for himself.. because if any particular religion is what it is, he/she will find it.
u can raise your child with the "values" taught in your religion dont force feed the bible down their throats

Again, personally speaking, I went to a Catholic elementary school. The nuns almost made me feel guilty that I was not going to a Catholic high school (I was going to the High School of Art & Design), but I would not have it.....hmmmm...just realized, the rebellion for me probably started then..... They said, "Why would you want to go there?? It's a PUBLIC school!" I answered, "Because it's a great school and both my brothers went there and were architecture majors". They did not answer....
