Wow... I leave to eat, and all of a sudden I have all these nicotunes fires to put out
I don't know if I'd say stupidity. I'd say lack of tact or rudeness. Stupidity implies a lack of knowledge. While you might not agree, you cannot say they're wrong. So at that point, you might just draw the conclusion that they're rude in their choice and decision to tell someone something they may not want to hear.
It's like if you went back in time to when people smoked and didn't know it was bad, and told every smoker: "You're gonna die early because of that! Enjoy your asthma!" It's just rude.... but it doesn't make the statement stupid.
True. Lets make a deal: Whomever of us dies first will promise to come back and haunt the person who is still alive, and tell them what's up after life, ok? Deal.
Exactly. Self-serving religious types are rude, and not nice. They are also not representative of the religion. You can't only take into the count the vocal minority when making up your mind, right? Lest I forget, Jesus advocated loving everyone, sinner and saint alike. Telling people their baby is going to hell, doesn't sound like something Jesus would do, as it's not very loving.
Not true.
God made humans non-sinful. Then Adam and Eve sinned, causing all offspring in the future to be sinful. Humans are inherently fallen (sinful) ever since that fateful day in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve had the choice to listen to God, and they chose not to. But they were perfect when they were created. Perfect with free will.
