hey guys,

i was in LA driving my friends car and i ran a yellow and we saw the camera flashes.

have anyone of you been flashed but havent received a ticket? i heard if you dont get a ticket in the mail within 14 days of when they took a traffic picture of you, the ticket is no good.

also, it wasnt my car but say my friend were to get a ticket in the mail. i can make sure that i'm the one that gets penalized, right?

he has to file the claim saying its not him (ticket will be issued to him at first) and then i believe he has to state who was driving the car and give the info for that person... i dunno if u can say "i dont know who borrowed my car" and if that will fly... but who knows!?

I believe if they review it and you indeed did run a YELLOW then they can't issue the ticket. By running the yellow that means that the rear wheels were past the crosswalk line BEFORE the light turned red. If that's the case then you were technically in the intersection before the red so you shouldn't get a ticket.
