Question for all you Bilingual people

It is difficult to keep both languages fluent, specially when at home we only speak "basic" laguage. I thought I knew Spanish but sometimes I find myself sounding stupid when speaking with a well educated Spanish speaker. It is something normal that we can't help. Even my Mom has this problem and she doesn't speak English

You don't speak Spanish, you speak Salvi. There is a HUGE difference!
I'm pretty good at communicating in both English and Spanish with my clients. However, in order to improve my vocabulary I am starting to read magazines/articles written in Spanish in my free time.
