Yeah I know... sorry 'bout that, but I don't think it's crazy confidential information...

I'll close the thread at the end of the day and ask that it be moved to the dumpster .
Oh yeah, IBTL!

i think they have 5 (or more) different locking nuts, because they change where the groove is on the nut.

[QUOTE=i_heart_my_DB8,Jul 6 2006, 01:18 PM] Sorry for the cross-post guys, this is also up in the wheel & tire forum, but I trust my So. Cal bretheren more

I have a question about those Rays aluminum lug nuts that everyone is running:

Is the "lock" an ACTUAL lock, or is it just a 7-sided nut?

if you are worried about theft, there are other lugs out there that would give you better protection. the rays, even though they are cool are not my first choice in lugs. get something that comes in a set of 20 locks, now that would piss a thief off. gorilla and mcgard sell such sets and they come in black.

I had McGard spline drive nuts on my DB8. 12 lugs need the "spline" key, and 4 lugs need the lock key. About as practical and safe as possible.
