Question about Rays Lug nuts
Sorry for the cross-post guys, this is also up in the wheel & tire forum, but I trust my So. Cal bretheren more
I have a question about those Rays aluminum lug nuts that everyone is running:
Is the "lock" an ACTUAL lock, or is it just a 7-sided nut? From the photos, it looks like a 7-sided nut with a groove down one side. Does this mean that anyone with the Rays key can take off any Rays lugnuts?
Can anyone clear this up definitively please? Thanks!!!

yes. but how many thieves carry the ray's key?
I'm a thief... and if I buy a $120 set of nuts, I can end up with a $2200 set of wheels?
Heck, I'd carry the key
I know what you're saying, I'd just like to know if it's something you'd have to worry about. Thankfully S2k wheels are such a funky size that they only fit other S2k's. None of this 16x7, 4x100 +42 offset that fits every Civic and Integra ever made .

I think this is pretty sensitive info...
I'll close the thread at the end of the day and ask that it be moved to the dumpster .
