PS3 slim flicker?
Hi,
I just recently purchased a ps3 slim, and the issue that I notice when system loading up the game, the screen start flickered 1-3 seconds, sometimes 1/4 of the screen had the snow effect. When playing game/movie are fine, so I wonder anybody have the same issue? anything I should concern?
TV: 37'' Samsung 720p
HDMI: Belkin
Console: PS3 slim
Thanks

i would try another cable...
my roommate has 52 Samsung 1080 plasma and his PS3 flickered onscreen until i suggested he try another cable. he switched his $100 monster HDMI cable for a $10 generic cable...and the flicker was gone...
and if that doesnt work...
since you just bought the PS3...you are probably still within the return policy...so just exchange it..

Thanks for respond guys, I figured out that my TV is only 720p and the flicker only happened when i used the HDMI wire, no flicker when i switch to the component wire. My guess is my TV response time is not fast enough and have to do with framing/scaling due to it's an old TV 720p model. Definitely I'll go out and get another HDMI wire to test it out.
