Powdercoating question
Good morning ladies and gentlemen
I've come across a set of Volk LE28N's (black face with polished lip) for an excellent price. However, I'm not a big fan of the black face/polished lip look on a 1 piece wheel But the price of the wheels are so good, and the condition is mint as can be for a used wheel, that it's gonna be tough to pass them up.
I know these were supposedly a limited production run wheel (even though everyone and their mama has them ). Should I go ahead and powder coat them the Volk Ti Silver finish? Would that lower the wheel's value when it's time to sell them (not keeping the car for too much longer ya know ) Pros/cons?

IMO, it doesn't make sense to powdercoat them a color that is already available through Volk, because most likely it won't look the same (as good) as Volk's job. For one, you won't have the stickers, and for two... isn't their Silver a matte finish? Powdercoating would give you a semi-gloss.
Please, just do NOT run LE28's on your car. Please. Do not. Black with polished belongs on SUV's and G35's .
Lemme know how good of a deal it is . Maybe you can powdercoat them a color that I want, and we'll swap
