Default Powdercoating question

After realizing that most aftermarket wheels look like crap on suzuka (from my standpoint) i was thinking of other solutions and came up with powdercoating and i was wondering...

Can my ap1 oem wheels be powdercoated suzuka blue?

They probably won't be able to duplicate Suzuka exactly, as the color selection is limited in powdercoating. You could have them 100% color matched painted, but the finish will not be as durable.

On another note, a plea from a fellow Suzuka owner: Please don't do this. I doubt you will be pleased with the results, and unlike that drunken romp with a tijuana hooker back in '99, your friends will never let you live this down.

As for wheel finishes on Suzuka... what about plain ol' Silver? What about Gold? Gunmetal? Black? I think those all look ok on Suzuka . Just don't get bronze. That's gay.

White TE37's (I think they are) would be nice...

I'm having a set of 06 OEM's powdercoated white, if they don't look good on my car they'd probably look really good on yours...*G*

My two cents: It's better to save up for something you want instead of doing something just because you can afford it now.

Save up. Get what you want.

You're in HS driving an S2000. Even if it was a bone stock '00 w/120k miles and cracked leather, you should be happy with it. In HS I was driving a 14 year old station wagon.
