Default Poly Diff Mounts - R U Vibratin Too?

Sooo my OEM diff mounts blew, so I decided to upgrade to Hasport S2k Diff Mounts (62A hardness)... Then I get bad vibrations when the car wasn't under load. I instantly knew it was my lack of half shaft spacers... So I recently installed 10mm spacers... But then my car vibrated hard only under a load... So I said "shit", maybe the half shaft axles themselves were old and worn from slamming the car...

So this morning I installed brand new Axle Assembly Driveshafts(CV joints, shafts, cups, etc. -- brand new/already assembled) (part #'s W0133-1714671 & W0133-1714672) from --> http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/...-01117701.html

Everything feels much tighter, less loose, and is smooth as silk when cruising on the freeway or decelerating. But when I give it the beans, I can still feel a semi harsh vibration. Not nearly as bad as before the axle replacements... But it's still there.

Is this just the feedback from the poly mounts that I have to get used to? Or is everyone else 'harsh-vibration free' under a load??

Thanks guys!

Is your diff shot? You shouldn't be experiencing any vibration. Align the car lately? If you replaced the CV cups, did the spacers, have new mounts and are still experiencing the issue that's the first place I'd check - as well as wheel weights and make sure they are balanced.

Slight vibrations are the worst. They are the hardest to track down. I have a slight vibration in the rear currently, but I know I have a torn diff mount. I recently replaced the CV cups as well. My vibration is very minimal. I'll likely also get the hasport mounts so I'll have a better idea once that is done.

Thanks for the troubleshooting. The axles are brand new and came pre-assembled with the cups, I installed brand new spacers, brand new mounts (street) poly mounts...

I don't think it's the wheels because the vibration only exists during acceleration, it's not always there.

So if you have poly mounts too, but without the vibration under a load, i'm starting to think maybe the internal gearing of the diff isn't meshing right anymore, or maybe the subframe bolts are loose??

Damn little vibrations every time... they ARE driving me nuts!

As far as NVH or vibrations, I noticed no change going to 85A Innovative differential mounts. 75A motor and trans mounts were a different story...

Yeah, I'm already running poly engine and trans mounts and am fine with that kind of vibration... The rear vibrating slightly under a load isn't the same... Bummer, I'm thinking maybe my rear isn't the spring chicken it used to be =/

Hey Sir, I'm doin great in SF! It doesn't come close to the car life in SoCal, but I'm making due with trips here and there to Laguna Seca.

Because my vibration is only happening under a load I don't think it's wheel weights, or wheel bearings. If parts like those were bad, they would vibrate the crap outta my ride regardless of being under a load, cruising, or decel... I'm starting to think I have to bite the bullet and get my rear gears replaced or rebuilt. Time to dig into the wallet again.

Cars and women... gonna be the death of me!
