Sigh.....

After catching up there, it doesn't look hopeless imo. This kind of cancer is highly treatable it's only unfortunate that she seems to be in a late stage already.

My best friend has been "dying" of a very rare type of liver cancer that's 98% fatal in 3 years. He was diagnosed 2.5 years ago or so and while he's had many major surgeries he feels fine and healthy. Chemo did nothing for him so he's relied purely on surgery and healthy life style habits to keep it at bay.

If they can simply physically remove the cancerous cells she may do fine without radiation as my friend has. In fact her cancer is considered far less aggressive.

Keep hopes high, she could still pull out of this one.

I'm kinda worried.
Your intuition is correct. Eating 20lbs of carrots per day won't cure cancer. There's a reason this place is in Mexico.

Best wishes to her.

On the other hand, it's easy to understand why she doesn't want conventional treatment--it's painful and doesn't always work.

I wish her good luck.
I was thinking the same. If it has indeed "spread" I don't think 100lbs of veggies, (you can accomplish this with a dietary pill) is not going to help. The body can only take so much and deplete the rest.

In terms on Chemo and Radiation... I'd go for it at this point. Some life insurance won't payout (holistic care) for deaths without supervision of medical care.

If she has life ins,. I would tell her to read the fine prints. As messed up as it sounds (to be thinking about finances), she still have a young child who'll need help.

Anyhow, I support her thinking and wish her the best of luck.

The kids in the pic are her grand-kids. More likely that her son would help
her than vice versa. Yeah, I'm not so sure about this Mexico thing, but...
It's her battle, to fight as she sees fit.

~sigh~

It's so frustrating; There's nothing I can do.
