^well, I'm in the market to buy either 60 or 80, depends on which one is able to play PS1 and PS2 games. I've heard only 60 gig can play PS1 and PS2 games and only 60 gig come with old memory card holder.
I want to make sure and that is why I'm here at s2ki to find out

but I picked the system up when it first came out so I was a bit shocked when they brought the 80gig out ... if I recall it also came with a copy of Motor Storm which is also a fun game! ( for the 80 gig)
