the only reason for me to believe they up the HD size was to compete with the Elite 360 box since that had a 120gig HD

Hi guys,

Has anyone encountered any problems with their playstation 3? I'm thinking to get one so any advise will be great.

Also, I heard only PS3 (60G) will be able to play with PS1 and PS2 games, as well as old memory card hold. Is this true?

Thanks,

David
no issues, i just picked up Assassins Creed for the ps3 yesterday FREAKING AWESOME!

^well, I'm in the market to buy either 60 or 80, depends on which one is able to play PS1 and PS2 games. I've heard only 60 gig can play PS1 and PS2 games and only 60 gig come with old memory card holder.

I want to make sure and that is why I'm here at s2ki to find out

20gigs less space but I picked the system up when it first came out so I was a bit shocked when they brought the 80gig out ... if I recall it also came with a copy of Motor Storm which is also a fun game! ( for the 80 gig)
