Hi guys,

Has anyone encountered any problems with their playstation 3? I'm thinking to get one so any advise will be great.

Also, I heard only PS3 (60G) will be able to play with PS1 and PS2 games, as well as old memory card hold. Is this true?

no problems here played everyday....... yes it does have the backwards compatible on any ps games......... i play the gt3 on ps3 and it works great....

some people have problem that it overheats and it needs to be shut down for couple minutes cause of playing too much or watching too much movies....... i played for 4-6 hours and left it on for 12 or more hours and no problem.

but then again i have the 80gb maybe they must have update the cooling systems i dont know maybe........

 

^wait, you said you have 80G but you can still play GT3? Isn't GT3 a PS2 games?

 

60gig and no issues here, I play it a lot but not everyday

yes its for the ps2 its all backwards compatible.....


BTW you dont need memory card anymore...

i don't mind the memory card anymore, I just care if the system can still play old PS1 and PS2 games.

I want to know which 60G or 80G will also run PS1 and PS2 games.

 

yes the 60 and 80 works... for sure..

 

both 60 for sure.. 80 ps2 for sure.. not sure about 80 and the ps1 games...
