Default Pixar's "Cars" Meet June 16th

Anyone who knows me well enough knows I carry two interests. One being cars of course. And the second, Pixar Animation.

Well Pixar is releasing another flick but this time, its "Cars."

There is no better place to see a Pixar flick but at the famous El Capitain theatre in Hollywood!

I'd like to get everyone interested sitting together and the only way to do this is to prorder VIP tickets. They run $23.00 a seat. This is the group rate of 20 seats or more. It may sound pricey, but we get assigined choice seating, popcorn, and a drink each. I would like to order all the tickets at once in order to get the seats together.

For those of you that would like to bring your kids, wives, or girlfriends/boyfriends along feel free. I'd like to aim for the 7pm showing just incase some kids would like to come along. We can all get a bite to eat afterward. I was thinking after the show walking down to Mel's Diner just a couple blocks down.

Parking will be at the Hollywood and Highland parking garage across the street. Validation at the theater is $2.00 for the first 4 hours. That gives us plenty of time at the theater and dinner at Mel's.

UPDATE: 24 seats have already been reserved and prepaid for June 16th at 7pm. These tickets are non refundable so I must get definate list and payment by June 2nd. Please do not flake after June 2nd. I do not want to scalp tickets the day of the show. Payment can be made via Pay-pal or in person if you see me before then. I can PM you my e-mail address for Pay-Pal. Hopefully we are able to fill all 24 seats in order to make it cheaper for everyone! This will be a very popular show. Opening weekend on June 9th is already competely sold out!

I may be interested. I'll talk to the family and let you know.

Nothing better than pixar animation. It all starts with a good story. Pixar is the best at telling a good story. And this is comming from a computer animator.

hmmmm put me in as a 50%. i dunno about the whole $25.00 thing, that doesn't really sit too well with my wallet. haha, thats clear jdm sidemarkers right there. 6 quarts of synthetic oil. a full tank of gas if u have 4 bars left. 75 del taco tacos on tuesday. lol, jk. but seriously...the Imax at the bridge? its like half the price? just a thought

I knew the $25 wouldnt sit well with some of you guys. I think its worth it. I tried to get the cheaper General Admission tickets and you have to fight for seats and chances are, you get the seats all the way to the side. The VIP you get front and center. Prime choice of seats, and they are reserved. No fighting for seats. And you get a tub of popcorn and a drink. Worth it in my experience.
I don't expect to get a lot of takers for this. But I'd like to organize something you could bring the family to as well.
