Photoshoot Meet Details - Sunday 1/26 @ 2:30PM - Angeles Crest Hwy
MEET TIME:
2:30 PM [Some photos here and roll out from here is 30-45 mins from the meet time - please be on time at 2:30 if you want your car's picture taken]
MEET LOCATION:
5822 Angeles Crest Hwy [This is the first lookout point you will see after entering the hwy for about a mile] https://www.google.c...21fdcc7a9c21a4f
OBJECTIVE:
We will take pictures of the car at this lookout point and then drive up the hwy to a higher elevation lookout point for rolling shots.

I will take shots of the car at the first location. I'm waiting for Nick to confirm that he'll be shooting the cars at the second lookout (pitstop). That's when you'll be driving your car (at normal speed) to take rolling shots. There are not that many turnout spots so once you pass the turn out you'll most likely be driving for a while before you can turn around again to meet back at the pitstop.
Should be a fun meet - we are keeping this small, hence the late posting.
[DISCLAIMER - PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE ATTENDING]
- This is a PHOTOSHOOT meet - it is NOT a driving meet. We are going to have fun but please be safe and smart. Angeles Crest Hwy is no joke - it is full on cliff on one side and plenty of bikers / drivers / bicyclists on a weekend day. Which wasn't my choice but this is how most members can participate. Someone *cough* Nick hasn't given us more info so I'm providing you with details since I've driven this road in the past.
- PLEASE BE SAFE AND SMART. Do not pass anyone on Angeles Crest Hwy. I will provide a safety talk at the beginning of the drive that I've heard from Roseanne at the EOM drive (aka the Safety Nazi speech) - all of which applies here. If you have been to that drive you know the safety requirement.
- Please be very respectful of law enforcement, other drivers, bikers, and especially bicyclists. They will be out and they will be using the road like the rest of us. Do not put them or yourself in danger/harm.

I better get my car detail & maintenance done today. It has been awhile since I went to Angeles Crest. We will head out from Garden Grove/Westminster with another s2k mbr so if anyone else want to caravan just pm me.
