that video was pretty cool.. ive had pho in san fran in chinese owned pho restaurant.. it was pretty good.. i dont know about the others though
Sunflower? That place is pretty good. There's thanh long too but that was more upscale. The dungeoness crab and Bo luc Lac wad pretty good.
Sunflower was more family style low key. Crowded and delicious.

all noodle soups are not the same!

ramen has nothing to do with pho in my opinion.

its like comparing paella to chinese fried rice, or peruvian fried rice.

all are different, equally or separately liked and craved for.

um, shinai is a bamboo stick.

Oh Shinai is then only used for Kendo, I though the name was derived FROM the sword.

Umm can we just say Katana then?

it was pretty bad. i was almost there, but you have a 30 min. time limit. once that expired i was like Eff this!

i got about 3/4 or the way through....ate all the noodles and extras, most of the jalapenos, but you have to drink all the broth too.

it felt like a nuclear bomb went off in my stomach. i felt drunk from the spice afterwards.

i learned after though that they allow you to bring in your own milk for the challenge. i might have a huge breakfast and bring my own milk one day to try it again.
