Petersen Movie Night -- Wednesday August 14, 2013. Jalopnik will be there at 5pm. First movie starts at 7pm. Traffic getting there is always complete HELL so leave plenty of time! And, this from personal experience with the chairs there, bring a cushion to sit on. Your butt will thank you later.

You don't have to get there at 5pm. Movie starts at 7. With it being a double feature, they can't really start much later than that.

Last month's movie was Grand Prix. It was a pretty lengthy piece and they had a panel discussion with some insiders from the movie. Bob Bondurant who did stunt driving and drove a camera car for the movie (and drove F1) was one of the panelists. It was great to hear the stories from behind the scenes.

I don't know if they plan to have anyone from the FF movies there, but with it being so close to tinsel town, I would not be surprised by it if they did.

Well, I have a crap load of things on my desk right now, but if I can get out the door by 6pm, yeah, I'll head over there for the 7pm showing. Might not stay late though.

I know I don't have a reputation for getting out to a bunch of events, but I think I'll recover in time for burgers next Wednesday the 21st.
