PDA phones
my cell phone plan is going to end soon and im thinking about getting a pda phone with navigation and would like to knowwhat pda phones out there have gps navigation and is a good phone? also is it a good idea to use pda phone for navigation or do you suggest just getting a regular cell phone and buy a navigation unit? also does anybody know which blackberry have navigation. is navigation ready to go or do you have to buy extra crap for it to work

a lot of the Pocket PC PDA's out there support GPS as long as you get the software for it. some of them even come with the software you just need the receiver...look it up online. i know BestBuy has a few of them you can check out.

The Palm Treo 650 is an awesome phone. It uses palm software that I find very user friendly.
It has a GPS bluetooth accesory available from Palm for $200. I'm not sure how well that works though. There's a separate bluetooth antenna included that you have to magnetically add to the outside of the car.
As far as getting a separate, dedicated GPS unit. That's the way I'm going. I just ordered a Garmin Nuvi from Costco.com.
