Some may be spirited and some may be slow, the goal is to have as much fun as we can while keeping it safe!

We would usually have an experienced driver like jason take the lead, or if we really wanted to keep the pack together he would put me in the lead (fukker...) and make periodic stops to make sure the group stays together.

On the day we meet, myself and any other experienced PCH crew will go over the safety guidelines and etiquette for the run.

Hi. Didn't realize you were putting something together already. I spend more of my time over on the s2000.com bulletin board and some folks from out of town are coming to LA so I decided to organize a couple of runs.

Here is what we've got planned:

Santa Monica Mountains Memorial Day Weekend runs, Fun runs on Sunday AND Monday

Sunday May 30 **AND** Monday May 31
10am (leaving by 10:30am)

Malibu, CA 90265

ONE meet time both days. Approx 3 hour run with lunch after. Location for lunch TBD (will either be Hows Market or Malibu City Center). I'll put together route sheets. We will be doing different roads on each day so if you want to do both days, it won't be boring. The only road I can say we will be doing both days is Tuna Canyon because it's just one of those roads of which you can't get enough.

PM if you want to exchange cell phone numbers and so you can let me know if you're running late on either run day or something.

Btw, Encinal Canyon Road between Mulholland and Decker is likely to have a fresh coat of tar on it for this weekend. They were grading it (or grating as the case might be!) on Wednesday afternoon prepping for new asphalt. Should be nice but a little oily. So if we do that road, we'll take it a little easier through there.

This is a casual fun run and not a car show or big event. It's supposed to be sunny and in the 70s. Bring sunscreen, water, a full tank of gas and an empty bladder. All of these can be acquired (or discharged) at the Chevron station and Vons market at the intersection of Sunset Blvd and PCH just south of the Chart House.

RMurphy, that sounds good! If you got peeps already comitted then ill join your run, sounds like youre heading up the PCH anyways so thats cool.
