Hey guys, I'm trying to set up a picnic for some friends of mine and was curious to know if anyone here knows of any good picnic parks or recreation areas to go to and have a nice late Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

I know of a place off the 605fwy near Cerritos, I think it's called Lincoln Park? I don't know and am unfamiliar with that place. I do however know of Santa Fe Dam, Irwindale. That's a nice place with a mini lake. I've been to other places as well with nice scenery to look at and some nice grounds to play football/volleyball/etc and have a bbq.

I believe the park off the 605 (near Cerritos) is the El Dorado Regional Park
