Default Orange County Canyons?

EDIT: So there's a big list of suggestions here, is there anybody that rides who would like to go together??

Spirited, but safe.

Hi guys, i just moved to Orange County from norcal. Are there any good canyon roads around Irvine/Lake Forest/Laguna area?

nicely paved with minimal police is always a plus.

For motorcycle or car.

ps: I went to Topenga Canyon in Santa Monica a few weeks back, and it was great! But too far from where i live..

Just stay off Ortega unless you have no value on your life.

Trabuco canyon isn't bad and that leads to another canyon that goes to Orange. Other than that there isn't much in OC.

Many many people get killed there especially on motorcycles. There are lots of dumbass drivers on that road at all times of day and night.

Part of the problem is that it is a major artery connecting Temecula area with South OC so you get lots of workers crossing back and forth in pickup trucks with 12 packs in back. Not making this up!

there's nothing like santa monica / malibu canyons in orange county. ortega as close as it gets, but much more dangerous.

trabuco canyon is worth a run or two, but there isn't much that holds the excitement of santa monica. did you hit up tuna canyon or latiago canyon when you were up there? those are my two favorites.
