Open Engineer Position in Orange County
off-topic but since times are tough i thought if i could help anyone out..
my dept. has a vacant position we're looking to fill.
we're looking for a BS in mechanical or industrial engineering and at least 2 years of experience. the following is the 'official job description'

If you are interested in gaining knowledge and experience while enhancing your development within a Manufacturing Operations environment, consider the following opportunity, located at our new facility in Irvine, CA.
Process Engineer II Qualified candidates will provide crucial engineering support to production and customer service/repair environments. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. You will also work closely with production supervision/management to improve the overall efficiency and quality of the production lines, including identifying and implementing cycle time reductions, and investigating and solving issues found within production processes and methods. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent work experience), and a minimum of 2 years design or process engineering experience. Exposure to manufacturing methods in a high-production environment including knowledge of JIT, flow manufacturing, kanban use, Pro-E, and/or AutoCAD experience is highly desirable.
