long time no post...i've actually learned how to control my foot. i've gone from averaging 235-245 miles on a tank to 280-290. It sucks, but all i had to do was change a few habits
1) less 6000 rpm+ time
2) top down less
3) slower cruising, 69 mph on freeway instead of my usual 74.
i really going to try and make a game out of this and see if i can break the 300 mark, i know there have been some people that have...
300 is not even a challnege

the only thing i did was making me to drive the miata more

290+ coming from Vegas for me.

Try following bigger cars like big rigs and such. Drafting helps.
i was a big fan before some big rig broke my front lip to ten pieces by throwing a big chuck of retread around 80.

the worst part was i can see it coming but i was boxed in, the lip was on for a week, before that i scraped and broke one driving my gf home(on a stupid hill)

260 average when light turns on (city and highway)...with air-intake, headers, test pipe and exhaust...

-also check your tire preasure, that makes a difference!

for me as of: 32psi front and rear now and 30psi front and rear for winter, for canyon its always different due to weather change...
