don't worry jimmy. when i took my tl back there when my pops crashed it they didn't do some stuff that they were supposed to. also it ended up that they lost my mugen radiator cap and he (hispanic manager? i don't remember his name) said that he would reimburse me but it ended up him just giving me a free oil change that i never even went back for. =X
i highly doubt that they will paint a wing for free but you never know. good luck with your car and i still think that s2k's are cursed! i got my antenna jacked last night
that prius is sounding mighty good right now

kinda off topic: I used to work a at body shop, we we video tape EVERY single car that comes in for repairs. We made asses out of SOOOOOOO many people who say "i KNOW that dent wasnt there before!" I just think its funny how people can so easily convince themselves of anything. Cool that the shop straight-up admits it though.
More shops should do it.
I wish Scott Robinson Honda had done it the day they dinged my car. Heck I have had my cars damaged in the shop more times than I can count and just sucked it up - this would have been very nice.
I am not out to rip ANYONE off, and I would expect the same of most people. But fair is fair - prove us wrong and we'll swallow our accusations and apologize; prove us right and we'll expect full resolution. I'd expect the latter liability is why your shop is in the minority on this.

Unfortunately this happens EVERY time I give my car to someone for service/repair/install work. It is the main reason I have learned to do most everything myself (except for body work and/or major drivetrain work). Seems that nobody will care for your car the way you or I do. To them it is just a car, and another customer in a long line of customers.
I recently got my car back from the body shop, and within 2 hours of picking it up, I had a list of 13 things that were screwed up! No kidding, and this was a shop our family has been using for 15+ years. I even recommend them to friends, but no longer. They made good on all my concerns (after waiting another week+ for them to fix it all), but that isn't the point.
Also, you said you were missing a USB cable? I make sure to remove EVERYTHING from the vehicle before dropping it off. That way you eliminate any possibilities of theft. It is almost impossible to prove it was there before they took possesion of it. EVERYTHING, even down to the valve stem caps and floor mats. You just can't be too careful.
Best of luck, and don't push too hard for any extra compensation. You should be thankful they are fixing the door.
