Smile ok, so i got my car back

i picked up my car today at noon, excited, but as i gather my paperwork and head to the car so i can drive off, i see a dent on my driver side door. so i walk back in and tell them that there is damage on the car that wasnt there before. the guy ive been dealing with came out and said that it wasnt there this morning. he said he is very sorry and that i will need to bring the car in tues, and he will get it done for me in 2 days. i asked him "you promise" and he shook my hand and promised. they are also giving me a rental for the 2 days.

now, even though they are still paying for THEIR damages on my car, i think im still entitled something...

im thinking of buyin the veilside spoiler from mike, and have them paint it no charge. yea that would be somewhat fair.

jeez, is this unbelievable or unbelievable? i will have pics up by tonight. im missing my usb chord.

all in all, they did a great job on the front end. paint is immaculate. everything fits like it did before the accident.

It sucks Jimmy, but more often than not you'll hear "hey, it came in that way - did you want us to do that too? OTOH if you can leverage a free paint out of them without pissing them off, nothing wrong with that.

But instead of the spoiler you should save your money to buy new rims so I can buy yours

kinda off topic: I used to work a at body shop, we we video tape EVERY single car that comes in for repairs. We made asses out of SOOOOOOO many people who say "i KNOW that dent wasnt there before!" I just think its funny how people can so easily convince themselves of anything. Cool that the shop straight-up admits it though.

Check on how they will be fixing the ding. If its just a minor one, make sure they do a paintless dent removal and not repair ur entire door panel. If they don't do paintless dent removal, ask for money and bring it somewhere else..

You don' twant your door repainted just for a ding. good luck!
