Just use mobil 1 thats what everyone uses i use the walmart 1 extended performance lol. Been using it for over 40k no problems depending how much time you spend in v tec reflects how much oil will burn all cars will burn oil if you run them hard. Im like .5 quart added between oil changes but then again i still baby my s

I think I'll add that I VTEC a copious amount, and have 100k on my engine. I also do extended length oil change intervals.

300V ftw.

Amsoil sso 0-30, and Amsoil mtf and diff

I ran castrol syntec for a thousand or so miles as a temporary fill up after I lost a bit of oil during an install. I didn't like it and changed it back to sso fast.

Eg: Motul 300V 5w-40 or 10w-40
Tranny: Amsoil MTF
Diff: Motul Gear Compe 75w-140

I used to use Honda MTF and was changing oil every 2 track event, but since I changed to Amsoil it last 4 event.

Mobil 1 causes TCT problems and is a group 4 cheap oil that is junk for high performance applications.

It's fine for stock setups etc and street driven cars.

pennzoil platinum synth 10w30. is the one found at walmart different than the one found anywhere else? (curious as someone had mentioned walmart's M1 is inferior?)
