Default OIl Preference

I know a lot of people hate on Mobil 1 for their preference of oil choice. So what is everyone else using and why?

Currently using Mobil 1 10W-30 Extended Performance. When I am due for my next oil change, I think I am going to try Castrol Edge with Titanium.

mobile one is horrible. i heard that is the case unless you get the higher end mobile one.. not the value priced stuff that you get from costco or walmart.. which is supposedly their own formula.

oem
amsoil
motul
eneos

is all good stuff..

i was forced to use some castrol edge on a last minute oil change.. seems pretty good soo far but I went with a 10/40

I used M1 for the first 100k miles but switched because I was burning about a qt an oil change. I then started using Castrol and Valvoline synth and the burning dropped to about .5qt an oil change. A lot of my friends use Amsoil because of it's high zddp content.

The worst is M1 from Walmart.
