Oil Change at Honda World
Hi, all,
So on Saturday took the car to Honda World. Chris Bruno takes great care of me there.
I get the car back and it feels REALLY good! Almost NO notchiness when I shift, and I recently had an issue with it being almost difficult to get out of third while moving.
I KNOW an oil change would not fix that......do they lube or something as a standard procedure??
I am really happy but wondering what they did.......
Thanks!
EDIT: Just read Josh's post........maybe an oil change CAN do this???

either you are not crazy or i am crazy?
i also noticed this phenomenon. i changed my ENGINE oil last month(note: not the tranny oil). up until that very moment i was experiencing a little notchiness in the tranny. though i am cautious when shifting because i used to experience the 1st gear popping out thing that from a stop i shift to 3rd, then shift to first before i get the car rolling.
the first thing i noticed was that little notchiness was completely gone after the engine oil change. hmmm, go figure. i really only get the notchiness in the 1-2 shift but it is chronic. i noticed it was completely gone after the oil change. wtf. i guess it is not just me then. it is now creeping back as i am 1.5k since my last oil change.
anyone know how this is possible?

Kel did my tranny fluid and it was the same condition. I was a little over for the oil change (time, not miles) and I drive locally every day (little freeway ) and I know that is tougher on the engine and oil......
Yeah, this is weird but I am soooo happy anyway!
