Spiny Norman

Yesterday I did a bit of work on my car. New wipers, air filter and I went to top up the oil. For some reason I had a mental block and forgot the oil I should be using. So I checked the little windshield sticker put there by the dealer last time they serviced the car. It Next Service 72,619 mi. Oil 5w20.

Hmm. I grabbed the oil went to tip some in and thought, wait, that's wrong isn't it? I checked the manual and of course the dealer had written the wrong oil on the sticker.

Now I have a dilemma. What are the chances they put the wrong oil in 3,000 miles ago? If they did, is the engine ok? If they did will they care/admit it?

Any advice?

errr. call them - seems to have worked fine for 3000 miles though
