Default offset experts i need your help

hey guys,

my wheels are in the shop right now getting widened

the original size is 16x7 +44

the shop is going to add 1" to the front of the wheel (face)
and 1.5" to the back of the wheel

so the new width will be 9.5"

my question is, what is my new offset?

i tried to figure it out myself with my little knowledge of offsets but i'm still confused.

anyhelp is appreciated..thx

the offset should be slightly higher due to the extra half inch you gained on the "back" of the wheel.

^^it's actually 1.5" to the back, and 1" to the front...and judging by your post, the 1" gained to the front of the wheel doesn't affect the offset, it's only the back? thanks for the responses

i was referring to the "extra" half inch, since the 1 inch on both sides kinda cancels each other out.

your new offset should be around +34/35, but then I could be wrong...
