spring rates and the valving for the dampers are also different by a bit too between v2 and v3 i think

I'd say about the same Shouldn't be too bad. Like I said, I'm on blown shocks with stiff springs, and as long as I drink out of a straw quickly while biting down on the straw, or ash my cig before the cherry gets too long, I'm still good. So stiffer suspension should be fine
