NYC to SAN
Whats going on SoCAL? As the Topic states, i will be making the move to San Diego area late this summer. I used to live in San Clemente on the pier back in 09, and have decided to go back. i love NYC, I lived here, raised here, but i need those palm trees in my life.
I have been kinda stress a little and nervous about making the move, before i was single and now i am married and its kinda harder. She also wants to move. So we are both moving. We are just worried about job situation. We have friends and family out there, but wish the job hunt from all the way here was easier. I was there last month in April and will be there again from June 13th to the 17th.
Any Advice on where to search for Jobs/ Careers.
Thanks in advance.

if you list what type of job you are looking for and what your qualifications are, it might help others to help you.
the job market is still crappy here, but getting a bit better. As always it helps to know people and be referred. There is still a lot of competition as well. I've been a finalist for the last 4 positions that i applied for, but someone with slightly higher qualifications and experience beat me out. My advice is to just keep looking and interviewing wherever you can. Odds will be in your favor sooner or later.

Anything that pays.
Looking for something Managerial. Something in the Business field, but willing to look at other things. I applied for the San Diego PD and got the job, but Academy is a while away. I applied to a Sports and Entertainment marketing position and heard back today, but problem is im still in NY. Another position that is looking at me is Military Education Coordinator at ALU in LA. So im hoping something comes through.
