Default No Front Plate Ticket

Hi All,

I just got pulled over in the Mid-Wilshire area for No Front Plate (the search feature here isn't working right now it seems). How can I get out of this ticket (not pay anything)?

Thanks,

J

It is only 10 dollars for the fix it. Just put it back on and take it off when you get home.

And what's the cost of that second ticket for contempt of court?

Simple. Just don't pay it and pray you never are pulled over by a cop again.

Of course, you could pay the $10, but why would you do that?

I've done this both times I got pulled over. There's no record of fix-it tickets.

Are you positive? I've had friends that have been summoned to court after not fixing something on a fix-it ticket and claiming they did. It is literally contempt of court to lie about doing something after getting a ticket. If a judge was in a bad mood you could get huge fines and jail time for this.

Seriously, I'd check with a lawyer if you're considering doing this.

I think it is only a problem if you get THREE tickets for the same "fix it" violation.
