The ticket was issued as an infraction and marked correctable. I'm pretty sure it's just a fix it ticket. The only thing I'm really worried about is my insurance getting a copy. I got a really good rate from them for my S and the last thing I want is for them to kick me off. =X
and unless its specifically a moving violation ticket, it will not be counted against your insurance.
dont worry about it.

I always carry my front plate in the trunk in case I get pulled over *knock on wood* I'd just say i'm heading to the dealership to pick up a front plate mount if they ask. If its late I'm heading to my friends house to get it installed. If its out of a club or a restaurant... well Sh*t I can't think of an excuse for that one

I've been cited 3 times for this. Only once was I pulled over. The other two were get this: given to me by the metrolink police while my car sat in the metro link parking lot COVERED. These guys are so bored that they lifted up my car cover, wrote me a ticket, placed it on my windsheild and replaced the cover. Here I am, taking mass transit, taking my car off the road, and here they are ticketing me. Go catch some Drunk Drivers you lame arse renta cops (they are real popo's BTW).
Anyway all three times I took care of it by, backing my car into the parking spot facing the cop at the front desk of the sheriff station, where he/she could see it from their desk. Payed my fine, $10 for proccessing and $15 for violation.
