Thumbs up Nintendo Wii

So I really want a nintendo wii and never got around to preordering one. Any of you know what store would be the best to camp out at to get one? Also, what store are opening up at midnight and what stores are opening up at normal hours? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

there are quite a few sites doing online preorders. Amazon, gamestop, costco. Sams club just had preorders this morning which went for a few minutes before they shut it down. I don't think you have to worry about getting your hands on a Wii when it is first released, since they'll be releasing way more units than Sony. You could always do the Truffle Shuffle and I'm sure someone will give you a Wii

btw Gamestop/Electronic Boutique preorder bundle with like 6 games is tonight sometime for $699. Not a good deal unless you want all those games

thanks for the info, guys. so what stores are going to have wii's available on the 19th? I'm guessing that places like Electronic Boutique, etc are only going to be passing out preordered units. Should I try target?

It's coming out on the 19th of this month. It'll cost $250 and that includes a controller (wiimote + nunchuck), a sensor bar (attaches to your tv so your wiimote can be used as pointer...ie. for shooter games, etc.) and wii sports. It should be a bitchin' game console. I've played PS3 a handful of times and although the graphics are stunning I haven't been all that impressed with the games/game play. I think nintendo has them beat in that regard.

Costco is supposed to have a package that will have two controllers and suppose to have zelda it might even have another game too in it for 330. It will be interesting to see how the bluetooth controllers work.
