Default Nice Restaurant in La Jolla

Im in San Diego and want to go to a nice, but not TOO expensive restaurant tonight in La Jolla. Steak, Italian, whatever. Give me some ideas. Neither of us drink. Thanks for the help.

How about Donovan's steakhouse? It is on La Jolla Village Dr... Or you can just hit up PF Chang's.

i dunno how helpful this is gonna be since both spots are pretty pricey and a little drive from La Jolla, but.......

Las Brisas in Laguna Beach has very good seafood & overlooks the water/beach.

Azzura Point in the Loews Coronado Bay Resort has decent eats & a very nice view as well. It's markedly more expensive than Las Brisas, but I had nice experience there.

Ryan, def. go to the Cove to eat Crabcather is a nice choice... though next door is better I think... Trattoria Acqua. The fare is Italian (duh) and not very expensive. The views are great, and the atmosphere is really nice, whether you sit outside in their nice enclosed patio or inside. A great, fun, and uncrowded sushi place is Aloha Sushi. It's off the 'main drag' and has a nice outdoor seating area inside a white picket fence lined with tiki torches It's in an old 1930s home converted to restaurant. A fun and good priced Mexican place less than a block on the other side of the street from Crab Catcher and Acqua is Alfonso's. So, there are some suggestions for you! Can't go wrong with any of these places Have fun! I am jealous, I really miss La Jolla
