Being as it was my first time making it out to a drive like this I was very impressed to the overall organization of it all! Thanks again for the bridgestone bag!

Cris ^^ You are now officially spoiled. Glad you had a good time. And glad you stuck around for the Bridgestone bag giveaway.

One thing we can improve on is the length of the stop times. I kind of kept hoping Jay would show up but he didn't and we hung a bit too long there and it got us into lunch closer to noon than I would have liked.

Here's a quick clip from the Snake. The skateboarders scare me. I just never can get used to them coming through. Of course the duck that was in the road down near the church and the trailer park area got my attention too. That was funny. I haven't uploaded it, but you can hear me saying, "There's a DUCK in the road," to no one but myself.

Nice video.

If if he was behind Gary K, then it must have been Alan's group (group 1).

I don't know if maybe Alan got stuck behind some slower traffic that caused things to bunch up, but it sure looks like the following distances are significantly too tight in that group.

And what was up at 2:25 mark? GPW decided to use a turn-out on the opposite side of the road?

You shouldn't have to get used to them, the cops need to start doing their jobs.

15.54.010: SKATEBOARDS - PROHIBITED ON GREATER THAN THREE-PERCENT GRADE.
No person shall ride on or propel any skateboard, as defined in Section 15.08.185, on any county road, street, highway, lane or alley which has a grade in excess of three percent, nor shall any person ride on or propel any skateboard on any county road, street, highway, lane or alley in excess of 10 miles per hour. (Ord. 12259 § 2, 1980: Ord. 6544 Ch. 1 Art. 4 § 1404.1, 1954.)

They're probably trying to imitate this dumbassery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=wwh94C7NB1I

Jump to 2:06 if you want is most likely to happen to those out of control idiots.

Yep that was at the tail end of Group One until the white S2k got loose around 2:25 so I guess he decided to pull off for a second... I believe somebody actually caught that on Video.

^^ Hmm. That's potentially problematic. Public roads and all.

But good that he opted to drop to the back and take a breather. Sounds like one may have been needed.

I think that wipe out shot is on Decker Canyon just above the one insanely tight corner.

The thing about the skateboarders that scares me is if they lose it into my lane, it's guaranteed they are dead. There won't be a damn thing I can do about it. Nada. And they have no real protection. The motorcyclists usually have body armor, full leathers, proper boots, and a serious helmet. And the bike could take some of the impact. With the skater, there is nothing. Skater vs Car; skater is just dead. I get that we all bend the laws and some of us outright break them in the name of fun, but the risk penalty for the skater seems way too high to look the other way.

So if those skater go over my lane and under my car, hmmmmm it's going to probably take more than soap and water to wash.
